Ms. Gunnars explores the history of Christianity in Greenland, the proposed classes of churches, and the impact of Christianity on northern Europe. Kristjana Gunnars
Kristjana Gunars is Professor Emeritus of the University of Alberta, Canada, and is currently Guest Professor at the University of Iceland in the Department of Humanities. She has also been awarded visiting positions in Norway and Germany. She is the author of several works of poetry, fiction and non-fiction, as well as academic articles on topics of literature and literary theory. Kristjana has been active translating Icelandic into English since the 1970s working with both Icelandic writers and poets.
