I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. I live in Lilydale with my wife Cindy. I have two sons that don’t live at home any more. I grew up in Norway and moved to USA in 1976. I worked as a ski instructor in Geilo and Voss, Norway, Avimore, Scotland and several ski areas around Minneapolis/St.paul. I am still an active downhill racer in the Skichallenge leagues.
I always had an interest for travel. In my young days while a student at the University of Bergen in Norway, my summer jobs were at tourist hotels on the west coast and fjords of Norway. Exsamples of such summer jobs are: Kviknes Hotel in Balestrand (the pearl of Sognefjord), 2 summers, Stalheim Hotel at Stalhein close to Voss, 3 summers. In 2004 I organized and led the first group tour to Norway. Since then I started Trollhaugen Tours and have organized a number of group tour and FIT tours, for families, couples and individual including several tours of Iceland.
